Senior Vice President/Chief Creative & Innovative Officer

 

As senior vice president/chief creative & innovative officer, Keisha is responsible for new business development, managing a team of client-focused and results oriented individuals, and creating a thriving environment of multidisciplinary collaboration and creative problem-solving that is responsive to and inspired by new ideas.  A member of the senior management team, she also leads employees across all offices in developing and executing creative and innovative solutions-oriented communication programs for the firm’s advertising, marketing and public relations accounts.  In addition, she oversees the firm’s creative and digital areas, as well as media planning and buying.

A 17-year veteran of the firm, Keisha is an integrated marketing communications specialist with hands-on knowledge managing advertising, marketing and public relations accounts on a local and national basis.  She has worked with corporate, not-for-profit and government clients, such as the American Cancer Society, Los Angeles World Airports, MetLife, Southern California Edison, and Verizon Wireless.

As an experienced member of the team, Keisha understands the importance of servicing accounts with creative, results oriented communications programs.  Currently, she manages the Southern California Edison account and the team serving as the lead contact for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.  Prior to this position, Keisha was the senior vice president/general manager, working on new business, the firm’s business operations, client service and the supervision of the firm’s media and promotions and creative departments.  She has also held several other positions in the firm including vice president/managing director, vice president/media and promotions director, media and promotions director, account manager, account executive, and junior account executive.

Keisha has been recognized for her work and expertise of multicultural communications through awards and invitations to speak on panels.  Most recently, the firm received a Sabre Awards for Multicultural Marketing for Verizon Wireless, a team in which Keisha headed.  Johnson Publications, the publishers of Ebony and Jet magazine, named Keisha “One of the Most Outstanding Women in Marketing and Communications” and PRWeek Magazine featured her in a roundtable discussion regarding diverse viewpoints on multicultural communications.

The Los Angeles native holds a bachelor's degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business administration from Howard University in Washington, DC.
