L.A. Care Health Plan

LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS worked with L.A. Care Health Plan to launch L.A. Care Covered, insurance plans provided through the Affordable Care Act. LC was commissioned to plan and execute their community outreach, to educate the community on their health care options and encourage them to enroll in L.A. Care Covered. Through strategic community outreach, LC was able to reach the Hispanic and African American markets and garner significant results for the clients. Some of the outreach activities included the following:

 

•  Coordinated two community outreach/ product launch events for L.A. Care Covered

•  Participation in multiple community events in Hispanic communities including:

-L.A. Galaxy home game – More than 300 people visited the booth and more than 500 brochures were distributed

•  Generated 40 media placements with the distribution of more than 2,200 materials

•  Partnered with local Hispanic grocery stores for on-site event brand awareness

•  Utilized street team/brand ambassadors to deliver collateral to local businesses, organizations and residents about upcoming events
